As we continue to let cool new universe colonization ideas percolate, it's always interesting reading pop culture and arts (aka movies) references and how they seemingly influence and inspire scientific research. That being said, this article has nothing to do with that and more to do with NASA allowing universities to research the feasibility of having human-ish robots prep Mars (and other planets/places in the future) for our arrival.
