...And Why We're So Excited!

As we dot our i's and cross our t's in preparation for the IBM Smarter Commerce Global Summit, I can't help but be a little more amped about this conference than others. Business reasons aside, it's in Orlando; when you spend your winters battling bone-chilling winds and lake effect snow squalls, any reason to go south during any time of year is wildly appreciated.

Getting back to business, this summit is of a particular interest to Briteskies because, much like our own initiatives, Smarter Commerce is about the customer. IBM and the technology this powerhouse creates continues to impress me by the way it uses data and insight to develop solutions. In this social media revolution we've found ourselves in, the power of persuasion no longer lies solely with the marketing or advertising department. Empowered online customers are now telling retailers what they want to be shown, what they want to buy; Smarter Commerce helps both B2B and B2C retailers achieve this incredibly high level of sophistication. We at Briteskies strive to do the same.

As an Advanced IBM Business Partner and a long time supporter of the WebSphere and iSeries product suites, we're really excited to not only be attending and sponsoring the Smarter Commerce Global Summit, but to announce our newly architected Briteskies Smarter Commerce Solution. Thanks to the experiences we've had with our WebSphere Commerce clients, and the innovative ways in which IBM continues to improve its offerings, we've identified a key business need that we think will benefit all B2B organizations - specifically those running on JD Edwards.

The Briteskies Smarter Commerce Solution will allow WebSphere clients to enhance their eCommerce processes by leveraging data and business logic which historically has been rather inaccessible from within their enterprise software systems. Our solution will allow businesses to focus on their customers, ultimately allowing for growth, stability and success.
