Resolutions for 2014

Hannah Gierosky
01/2014

Whether you annually compile a list of New Year’s Resolutions or believe that any day is a good day to start anew, there is no denying that the beginning of the year holds potential when it comes to making life changes. A fresh start is always alluring, and what better time to begin than when the calendar has turned over, the holidays have ended, and all of your friends and family have hibernated away for the rest of the winter? Some of the Briteskies team have revealed their plans to make 2014 their best year yet.

Kris Brown:

Get six pack abs

Work towards Zend Framework and PHP certifications

Wash Matt Trimmer’s Car

Hannah Gierosky:

Read 50 books

Get back into a running routine

Learn to cook something that isn’t mac and cheese

Michelle Kowalski:

Stop casually hoarding things

Cook actual food

Semi-regularly dust surfaces

Bill Onion:

This year, I’ll continue to focus on a few priorities from 2013, including running and reading more (specifically, fictional novels, not just professional articles). I also want to improve on a couple from last year that did not work out so well, including improving my Spanish.

Matt Trimmer:

Eat more canned peaches

Gian Genovesi:

Keep on being my bad self

Try 150 new beers
