For every decision we face, whether by an intern or developer, management or ownership, we ask ourselves certain questions that pertain to our values. When a team member exemplifies those values, we like to recognize and reward their efforts. In the first quarter of 2015, we recognized those team members who displayed Customer Focus.

Mantra of the Month Winner: Stefanie Rhine

Our most recent Mantra of the Month winner is Business Continuity Manager Stefanie Rhine. The Mantra Stefanie was nominated for is “People First,” which asks the questions, “Will this decision positively impact the people we work with whether it be team members, partners, vendors, or customers? Does it focus on teaching, training, coaching, or mentoring to help develop and encourage people to grow personally and professionally?” No matter the task at hand, Stefanie accomplishes her goals while maintaining a People First attitude.

Congratulations are in order for Matt Trimmer, the most recent member of the Briteskies team to exemplify the Monthly Mantra.

This month’s mantra was “There Can Only be One #1 Priority.” Every day we are faced with distractions, interruptions, emergencies, and a myriad of other things that keep us from accomplishing our goals. Do the Right Thing Award Winner Derrik Nyomo

Congratulations are in order for our first Do the Right Thing Award recipient, Derrik Nyomo.

Derrik won the Mantra of the Month award in April for “Being a Learner, Not a Knower.” In his nomination, a coworker described Derrik as a consummate learner, citing his upward mobility within the company as well as his ability to solve challenges while maintaining his cool and communicating with other team members. Derrik was also nominated in June for adhering to the “Customer Focus” mantra. It was noted that Derrik not only focuses on external customers, but internal as well, fixing critical issues without complaint.

Monthly Mantra Nominees

In order to celebrate those mantras, we pick one a month and team members nominate individuals who exemplify that mantra throughout the month. Twice yearly, each of these nominees will be submitted for the Do the Right Thing Award, named for one of our mantras that supports our core beliefs as a company. We are excited to recognize our employees for their commitment to our office culture, which helps keep Briteskies trusted by our customers.
