Sometimes we come across a blog that is so good that we just have to share it. We will highlight a few of our favorites each month here on the blog, but don't forget to see what else we are sharing on Twitter and Facebook.
Mobile Tips for Holiday Marketing Success
You may still be working your way through Halloween candy, but if you aren’t also working on your holiday marketing strategy, it’s time to get moving. Mobile continues to be a big factor in holiday shopping, and your organization needs to target those mobile users or miss out on a considerable audience. The team at IBM has compiled 20 tips to help you achieve marketing success this holiday season, and a few of our favorites are listed below.
Think outside the app with mobile email.
Interacting with your customers via your app or mobile site is great, but it’s far more likely that a customer will be experiencing your brand on their mobile device through an email. Make sure that all of your email campaigns are either optimized for mobile or responsive. Additionally, be sure that any link a customer may click on in a mobile email will lead to a mobile-optimized web page.
Make the Black Friday shopping experience easier.
More and more it seems that shoppers are abandoning the Black Friday mobs in favor of online shopping from the comfort of their home. Make it easy on your customers by letting them take advantage of Black Friday offers through mobile app or website purchases.
