Ove the past 12 months, I’ve read several different articles illustrating an alarming trend of pharmaceutical companies gouging consumers with unthinkable (and completely bogus) price increases for medications previously sold at a fraction of the cost. The author of this article does a nice job covering the latest “Big Pharma” rip-off, but also provides some much-needed insight into why government regulators in Washington have effectively turned a blind eye to this cash grab while consumers are getting swindled on multiple fronts.
