hubspot.svgThe world of marketing continues to evolve; it seems that almost daily there are new trends to evaluate for usability in your organization, new technology options are seemingly endless, and the ability to coordinate all these varied tasks, people, and tools can be overwhelming. Thank goodness for marketing automation and platforms like Hubspot that help overloaded marketers regain some semblance of control. As useful as Hubspot is in helping to manage your marketing strategy, as with any program it is only as good as the people who use it. Having all those shiny new tools are great, but if you do not take the time to figure out how to really get in there and leverage all that they have to offer, then you are missing out on a tremendous opportunity.

As the role of the marketer continues to change and the expectations increase, training becomes increasingly important. Hubspot provides a ton of great training classes that help new users get started and give long time users the chance to continue to grow their skills. Our Marketing team has added a number of HubSpot certifications to their list of accomplishments. Along with their Inbound Certifications, Hannah Gierosky and Stefanie Rhine have both earned their HubSpot and Email Marketing Certifications. These certifications help our team further leverage content marketing strategies.

The HubSpot Certification builds off of the Inbound Certification to test the recipient’s knowledge of the theory and practice of inbound marketing and how to apply those practices using HubSpot. While most certifications awarded through HubSpot require passing a test, the HubSpot Certification required both passing a test and completing a practicum. This process allowed our team to analyze our website, blog, and content offerings to make sure that we are fully utilizing our resources.

The Email Marketing Certification helps prepare marketers to use email to grow and support their business. Throughout this course, our team discovered how to create an email marketing strategy using lifecycle marketing, segmentation, email design, deliverability, analytics, and optimization. We are using this knowledge to improve our email campaigns to make them more beneficial for our recipients.

With these new tools, our team is more prepared than ever to fully leverage a content marketing strategy for ourselves and our customers. Interested in how inbound marketing can benefit your business? Give us a call.
