At the beginning of every year to thank our team members for their contributions to the company and to their clients, Briteskies hosts an Annual Company Event for employees and their guest. In the past we have hosted three course sit down dinners at various Cleveland area restaurants, a Wine Train Excursion, sponsored a Casino Night and Raffle, and held a Bowling Tournament with fabulous prizes and bragging rights. This year’s company party celebrated not only the accomplishments of the past year; but also one of the common interests in the office: beer.
The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad Ales on Rails tour featured picturesque views of the Cuyahoga Valley blanketed in snow while sampling five different beers and accompanying appetizers. The members of the Briteskies family and their guests boarded the train and enjoyed the view while sampling brews that fit that ride’s theme: the Resurgence of the Canned Beer. From hoppy IPAs to smooth porters, the train ride was a beer connoisseurs delight and a fun new experience for everyone.
After the train ride, the team reconvened at the Akron Barley House for appetizers, drinks, and socializing. Good music and tasty food led to great conversation and a chance to catch up with coworkers outside of the office. Although some people left earlier than others, some of the party stuck around and danced into the night.
A big thanks goes out to the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad and the Akron Barley House for their hospitality. Thanks to everyone who attended for making the party such a success!
