Briteskies has helped another client upgrade “to the nines.” As an Oracle Gold Partner, the Briteskies team led an upgrade from JD Edwards World A7.3 to A9.3 to improve functionality and maintain Oracle/JD Edwards support levels for the client. Although from a technology standpoint, this upgrade seemed straightforward, some coinciding initiatives within the company added a level of difficulty for the Briteskies team. Through the experience and expertise of the Briteskies team, the client received their upgrade on schedule and at 80% of the budget.
Several factors played into the Briteskies teams ability to complete this upgrade on schedule and under budget, including but not limited to: performing a "like for like" upgrade, having a detailed project charter, involving the user community throughout the process and the utilization of an upgrade war room.
