Crain's Cleveland Business Fast 50 Awards

Hannah Gierosky

fast-50Our own Bill Onion represented Briteskies at the Crain’s Cleveland Business Fast 50 Awards ceremony on Wednesday, November 5. The event, held at the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum at the Western Reserve Historical Society, honored the 50 fastest growing companies in Northeast Ohio, which includes Briteskies!

For Bill, earning this award is a true reflection on the members of the Briteskies team.

I think this is good recognition for all of the hard work from all of the people who are involved with our clients. Without Briteskies team members working hard and taking care of our clients, we wouldn’t be where we are today. This award is a public recognition for all of that hard work.

Bill_Fast_50-312743-editedThere were a lot of familiar faces at the event, including our clients at MCPc and Chart Industries, Inc, both of whom made the Top 50 list. It was nice to see our friends from Apple Growth Partners, who helped determine which businesses were eligible for the award, and Alliance Solutions Group, who ranked in the top 10.  It was also great to see our friends from Hyland Software and Blue Bridge.

This award is just another example of the incredible growth happening in Cleveland.

As Bill said, “It’s great to see growth in Cleveland because it’s a good indicator of a healthy economy. It’s so nice to see companies doing so well and really growing and thriving. It’s just good for Cleveland overall.”

Crain’s publisher John Campanelli expressed the same sentiment. As he said in this article, the successes of the businesses that were honored “prove there’s a transformation going on in Cleveland.”

Besides the honor of the award, one of Bill’s favorite parts of the night was the venue itself.

“[The Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum] is gorgeous. It’s a hidden gem that not enough people visit. If you like cars at all, it’s a cool place,” Bill said. He even snapped some pictures of his favorite cars in the museum.fast_50_cars.gif

Being recognized for this award means that the Briteskies team will have to set the bar even higher going forward.

“This challenges us to do more than we have in the past,” Bill said about the award.

A special thanks goes to Rob Hauzie from Fairmount Santrol for attending with Bill. Thank you to Crain’s Cleveland Business for the award, and we look forward to making the list again next year!
