Congratulations to our own Jason Young on his most recent certification!Jason earned the Zend PHP Certification, an accomplishment that was important to him not only professionally, but personally as well.
“The Zend Certification was important for me on a personal level as it legitimizes and strengthens the confidence I have in my abilities. I’ve been developing applications in PHP for 15 years and being able to truly and successfully test that experience was rewarding,” Jason said.
Jason put in a lot of work to prepare for the exam by studying everything he could get his hands on. He researched other people’s experiences with the exam and spent time poring over the Zend study guide, which gave him an idea of what questions would be asked. He also used the PHP Documentation as a reliable resource.
The Briteskies ideal of “learn, stretch and grow,” was at work as the Briteskies team made it easier for Jason to achieve the certification. Briteskies invested in Jason by allowing time to research and study during work hours as well as reimbursing the exam fee upon passing.
“Professionally, I hope it will provide our clients with the confidence that their projects are in good hands.”
