Join us in welcoming the newest members of the Briteskies team, Rob Willoughby and Jim Mather.
Rob Willoughby, Project Manager
Rob joins the team at Sterling as a Project Manager. Before this, he was an IT Project Manager and Business Analyst at an IT managed services provider. In this new position, he is most looking forward to implementing high-quality business and technical solutions.
A lifelong Cleveland-area resident, technology has always been an interest for Rob. “Technology continues to amaze me on several fronts including communication, education, automation, and business solutions and process automation.
In his spare time, Rob enjoys riding his Harley Road King, working on and driving his 1973 Ford F100, traveling, organic gardening, and other outdoor activities. He also like to keep up with the local music scene, and stays up to date on world news and politics.
Jim Mather, Magento Developer
Originally from Syracuse, New York (and a fan of the Syracuse Orangemen basketball team), Jim has lived in Cleveland since attending Case Western Reserve University in 2008. Prior to joining the Briteskies team, Jim was working at a Cleveland startup that analyzes hospital data to find opportunities for cost savings and improved patient care. He joins us as a member of the Magento Development Team.
Although he went into his last job with little to no experience with Linux, web development, or Python programming, within two years Jim was the head of software development at the company. He brings that determination to this new position and is ready to continue learning.
“In my new role at Briteskies, I’m most looking forward to learning a new technology stack and hopefully using the many built-in features of Magento to abstract out some of the tricky details of web development and get to the big-picture stuff,” Jim says.
While still new to the job, Jim’s favorite part so far is the camaraderie of the Briteskies team. “It seems like we have more fun here on a daily basis than I remember having at my previous jobs. I also love the food table; the buffalo wing chips are amazing.”
Outside of work, Jim enjoys playing guitar, reading fantasy novels, running 5ks, going to the beach, tinkering with electronics projects, riding rollercoasters, and playing Pokémon Go (the latest office obsession). If he had to eat one food for the rest of his life? “Tacos, preferably from Barrio.”
Welcome to the team, Rob and Jim! We’re happy to have you on board.
