Phil’s expertise spans IBM i modernization, SQL development, and cutting-edge development tools like VS Code for i. He has led successful projects transforming DB2 databases from DDS to modern SQL/DDL schemas and improving classic RPG applications – always striving to boost performance and integration. Known for his approachable teaching style, Phil shares knowledge through internal Lunch & Learns and has spoken at industry events like COMMON POWERUp, where he presented an engaging session on VS Code for IBM i.
